Sports is an important concept of Elias's theory of sports sociology, which mainly emphasizes how individuals are civilized in sports, and focuses on reflecting that the individual sports behaviors in the civilizing process gradually change from external coercion to internal self-control. Taking the interpretation of the concept of "sports" in Elias's theory of sports sociology as the starting point, the present study clarifies the logic of configuration of Elias' sports, and then puts the sociological explanation of configuration into sports, that is, the social and psychological occurrence of sports. The globalization of sports makes sports often transcend the context of civilization, and then produces "inter-construction" with the civilizing process, that is, sports "quests for excitement" for the civilizing process, and the civilized process constructs "emotional civilization" for sports.
