（1.School of Physical Education，Shandong University，Jinan 250061，China；2.Jilin Sport University，Changchun 130022，China；3.School of Economics and Management，Wuhan Sports University，Wuhan 430079，China) Abstract: Based on an investigation on national single event sports associations such as Chinese Football Associa-tion and Chinese Basketball Association, by using literature data and logic analysis methods, from the theory, his-tory and reality dimensions, the authors collated the logic approaches of national single event sports associations separating from the government, analyzed the realistic difficulties faced by their separation, and put forward coping strategies. The authors concluded the followings: the government’s internal resistance, the associations’ own prob-lems and the absence of separation supporting systems, are the main causes for national single event sports associa-tion separation incompleteness; we should establish a government supporting and assuring mechanism and a plural-ist supervision mechanism for association separation, strengthen the improvement of the associations’ own abilities, perfect the association separation supporting law framework system, so as to ensure that national single event sports associations’ separation from the government achieves a substantial effect, and ultimately to made them become autonomous and self-disciplined legal entities.
