| （1.School of Wushu and National Traditional Sports，Beijing Sport University，Beijing 100084，China；2.Center of Wushu and National Traditional Sports，Beijing Normal University，Beijing 100875，China) Abstract: Traditional minority national sports are an important carrier of national culture, provided with diversified ritual symbols and life metaphors; they are an important form of life education, can provide a basis for forging the community awareness of the Chinese nation. By using methods such as literature data research and field investiga-tion etc, the authors studied the life education of Guangxi traditional minority national sports practice activities, and revealed the following findings: traditional minority national sports’ care of life is embodied in body experience, so-cial discipline formation and spiritual life appeals; traditional minority national sports contain profound life conno-tations, have a complete life belief worship system, are a sort of ritual performance of body practice, and their life symbolic metaphors are profound; traditional minority national sports integrate survival education, living education and national community awareness education, are a sort of grand life education.
