| （1.Institute of Urban Governance，Shenzhen University，Shenzhen 518060，China；2.Department of Physical Education，Shenzhen University，Shenzhen 518060，China) Abstract: By applying such research methods as interview and text analysis, the authors carried out a case analysis on G City Wushu Association. The result indicated that in Wushu group management, G City Wushu Association extended the logic of relationship between the government and social organizations, developed single event boxing research societies (hereinafter referred to as “boxing societies”) into its own branches, and by applying s series of administrative means, enhanced the boxing societies’ operating ability, promoted their participation status inside the system, and boosted the benign development of folk Wushu. Hence, a mode of practice that combines the state with social corporatism has been formed in the Wushu area in G city. Such a mode of practice effectively ensures the be-nign inheritance and development of folk Wushu resources.
