In the process of development of the physical therapy industry in the United States of America, factors, such as social need, historical opportunity and industrial independent power etc, have produced influence on the development of physical therapy. As for China, it should pay attention to the in-fluencing functions of multiple factors, exert the disciplinary advantages of the sports system in academic research and talent cultivation, advocate the crossing fusion of sports science with rehabilitation medicine, thus boosting the development of the rehabilitation undertaking and sports undertaking in China.
