Abstract: Over the years, curriculum setup study guided by all sorts of doctrines overly intensified the lecturing of the curriculum considered as sports knowledge, skills and methods, yet relatively neglected the cultivation of the curriculum considered as emotion, personality and etiquette. The routinization of curriculum management, mode immobilization of top level design, technicalization of content selection, and marginalization of education setup, have resulted in that the physical education curriculum lacks in cultural quality. The curriculum’s cultural quality must be restored; otherwise, any reform will just stop at the innovation of contents, methods and techniques. The reconstruction of cultural quality of the physical education curriculum should be started with positive emotion cul-tivation, perfect personality establishment and etiquette enlightenment.
