(School of Physical Education,Southwest University,Beibei 400715,China) Abstract: The authors probed into the relations between the extracurricular physical exercising behavior choices of teenagers in Chongqing city and restricting factors, and revealed the following findings: family economic pressure, physical exercising habit and method, physical exercising interest and value orientation, school physical education policy, physical exercising environment and guidance as well as schoolwork pressure are 6 key affecting factors that restrict students’ extracurricular physical exercising participation and action, in which physical exercising habit and method and physical exercising environment and guidance have the strongest influence, school physical education policy has the less influence, physical exercising interest and value orientation has the weakest influence; as com-pare with students in ordinary schools, students in traditional schools have better physical education policies, a better exercising awareness and sense of value recognition, a nicer physical exercising environment and guidance; among teenagers at different grades, elementary students have the best physical exercising habit and method, the nicest physical exercising environment and guidance, and the lowest schoolwork pressure, followed by junior high students, next by high school students.
