| （Guangzhou Sport University，Guangzhou 510500，China） Abstract: The author analyzed the foundation, typical conceptions, contents and steps of and things to be noticed in the cultivation of sport artists, and found that the objectives of cultivation of sport artists can be summed up as “to base on healthiness and happiness, to lead the fashion movement, to expand bases for practice, to cultivate sport art-ists”, their cultivation steps include: 1)determine professional cultivation objectives, curriculum setup and teaching organization forms; 2)refine the specifications of and requirements for cultivating students to become professionals in the sport art category; 3)establish the framework of the sport artists cultivation curriculum system.
