The hosting of such an interna-tional sports event by Guangzhou as the city hosting Asian Games 2010 is provided with important meaning in and influence on boosting the interactive development of traditional cultures and exotic cultures, increasing the core value of “people orientated” city culture, as well as enriching and perfecting city image and culture.
