| （School of Physical Education，Huazhong Normal University，Wuhan 430079，China） Abstract: The authors probed into the issue of realizing the equalization of basic public sports services in terms of the relation between mass sports and competitive sports, supply systems, administrative ideology, the establishment of performance evaluation systems, and the perfection of financial systems, and put forward the following opinions: for realizing the equalization of basic public sports services in China, such a precondition as that the positions of mass sports and competitive sports are equal should be ensured; basic public sports service supply systems should be perfected; the “people serving” administrative ideology should be carried on; scientific basic public sports ser-vice performance evaluation systems should be established; financial transaction and payment systems should be perfected; the equalization effect should be intensified.
