Abstract: Continuing Olympic education after Beijing Olympic Games is an important way to communicate Olym-pic ideology in China, also a spiritual food needed for constructing a harmonious society in China, which is a realis-tic issue that should be considered today. The Olympic moment is an international cultural moment that bases its carrier on sports and its core on education. Education is the core of the Olympic moment. For every national (re-gional) Olympic committee acknowledged by International Olympic Committee, Olympic education is a task speci-fied in the Olympic Charter. From the perspective of special and general Olympic education, Olympic education is a sort of social education, and has been developed in China. Since the publication of the first Olympic teaching text-book in China in 1993, classroom education of and researches on the Olympic moment have made great develop-ment and progress, but also encountered such a difficulty as the lack of information sources, foreign language ca-pacity and sports social science knowledge.
