Abstract: Sports activities conducted in rural holidays and festivals are significant to the construction of a new countryside: they are important keys to breakthroughs in the construction of sports culture in new countrysides, and effective ways to strengthening communication between the government and the masses and between the masses; since their intrinsic features boosted the enthusiasm of peasants for participating in sports activities, they have effec-tively changed the bad life styles of peasants; they have the mission to carry on the culture while promoting con-sumption and boosting economic development.
