On the return of competitive sports to the nature of game playing——Thoughts inspired by stimulant prohibition XU Qin-er，GAO Jing

(Department of Physical Education，Jiangsu Polytechnic Institute，Changzhou 213016，China) Abstract:By analyzing the reasons for prohibiting stimulants as well as other factors that do harms to the health of the human body and the sustainable development of sports, the authors pointed out that the nature of competitive sports is game playing, and that over commercial development and excessive political interference are the main causes for competitive sports to deviate from the track of game playing, and that for future development competitive sports should return to the nature of game playing.
