Abstract: The author studied the “Money Bar” game, a traditional Tujia nationality sport popular in the northeast region of Guizhou, and discovered that it was a traditional national sports event which was characterized with low requirement for playground and equipment, low technical difficulty, low exercise intensity, and arbitrarily controllable exercise volume, thus being highly interesting and enjoyable and widely adaptable. In the course of its development, prominent important historical and cultural values have once been presented, such as promoting the solidification and unification of this nationality, continuing the culture of Tujia nationality, promoting the physical and mental health of the predecessors of Tujia nationality, and promoting cultural communication between different nationalities. In the real life in Tujia nationality people crowded areas, this game is also provided with such important meanings as promoting the development of social sports, scholastic sports and tourism, and promoting the construction of spiritual civilization. The sustainable development of this game itself can be boosted by the ways that realize the said meanings.
