| (1.College of Sports and Art,Tianjin Institute of Physical Education,Tianjin 300381,China; 2.Tianjin Normal University,Tianjin 300381,China; 3.Department of Physical Education,Yanshan University,Qinhuangdao 066004,China) Abstract: By observing and analyzing the quality of technical application during body contact, the results of applying different contact parts of the body in different conditions and matches, as well as foul situation in respect to China Men's Basketball Team during its offense and defense confrontations with world winning teams in the 28th Olympic Games, the authors revealed the following findings: Body contact was provided with an important effect on offense and defense results in basketball games; Chinese players had a relatively poor performance in technical application during body contact,indicating that Chinese players fell short of strength,speed,technique and aggression when applying body contact,and these findings provide a reference for China Men's Basketball Team in training and games.
