In the process of development, regional football league in Guangdong revealed some problems as well, for example, the internal league management system was not sound enough, the consciousness to manage competitions according to law was weak, sustainable league development was lacking in assurance, the clubs were too eager for quick suc-cesses and instant benefits, there was a lack of backup talents etc. These problems have hindered the healthy devel-opment of regional football league. The authors put forward solutions in such aspects as supervision system, league running mechanism, development environment optimization and regional league system construction etc, hoping to boost the development of regional football league in Guangdong.
